“The Darkest Night Worship Service” – Tis the Season to be…I know, you all thought “jolly,” and for some people that is a perfect descriptor. But for others, this season is not an easy one. The stress level rises with the expectations of the holidays, the pressure to buy expensive gifts, to attend several events, and the pressure to be on one’s best behavior with family. The holidays are not always jolly. Still, there are those who are experiencing grief and the holidays bring to the surface memories that may also bring sadness, regret, or highlight loneliness that is not so evident other times of year. For anyone who needs to hear a word of hope, we welcome you to attend our“Darkest Night Worship Service” this evening beginning at 6:00 pm. We are hosting a service on the longest night of the year to honor the meaning of Christmas in the midst of what is for some, a very difficult time. Share this opportunity to worship with your friends and neighbors and welcome them to the sanctuary of God’s care. All are welcome.
